Science, in coordination with the nature

Nature teaches us a lot. Science is the discovery of truth, the discovery of reality. Science is the means to know ourselves. Look observe, analyze the nature and act accordingly. We assume that we are is better suited for your environment. The most important thing in life is our adaptability. Better we take the best of us can live. Cockroaches are forms of life, the most successful in the history of Earth, known only for itsAbility to maintain itself under the prevailing conditions. Cockroaches were roaming freely over millions of years at the time of the dinosaurs to the present. You know how to be better adapted to the new environment.

Many of the discoveries by scientists who are inspired by nature. The planes were discovered when the men saw the birds flying in the sky. Life in the water caused the man, the pots, which can also fully enjoy making life in the water. ThisActivities of humans or other animals to other forms of life copy is investigated under the name of bionics. Researchers found that a high value on this branch of science to the many problems that are fixed or difficult to solve could be solved.

If we look for examples of bionics, there are several examples in which nature has the role of teacher and mentor for new discoveries and played strange. Only a few of them that are popular is the discovery of Velcro in 1941 byGeorge de Mestral, he worked as an engineer in Switzerland. He saw the flashes on the body of his dog. When examined under a microscope, he saw the smear plugs were tiny hooks at the ends, which are used with the terminal filaments that attach to the hair on the body dogs. This observation led to the discovery that Velcro is very popular today and in patches or strips in front of a hook material. Another good example of bionics is the home of termites skyscraper, which is kept at a constant temperature of inspiredInclusion of convection by opening and closing the vents allow cool air to the base and warm air from the chimney go up or are produced. This observation led to the production of passive air-conditioned skyscrapers of modern cities.

Another discovery biomimic called super-hydrophobic surface of plastics and metals is inspired by the irregular surface of the lotus leaves, which does not stick to the water that goes over and picks up dirt particles and make theshiny surface. Since the regeneration of the skin of the animal, scientists have self-healing plastic for use in air-and spacecraft discovered. A very important discovery is off for the future through the recent process of photosynthesis in plants, where they are converted into water and carbon dioxide into glucose and oxygen in the presence of sunlight inspired. Following the same principle, which is called as artificial photosynthesis, the water would be used in oxygen and hydrogen are dividedfor fuel, a renewable energy source. Some examples of bionics there, the world would be much more natural and more livable.

Skin Cancer ? Facts You Need to Know | Health Wiki information

While you have certainly heard of skin cancer, did you know that all three types of skin cancer are on the rise? This includes squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and the most serious form of skin cancer ? melanoma. The good news is that almost all forms of skin cancer are preventable by avoiding sun exposure or other forms for ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It is also true that early detection can result in successful treatment of even the most aggressive types of skin cancers.

So what exactly causes skin cancer?

Skin cancer is most likely to form on parts of your body that have the most exposure to sun. The most vulnerable areas include your face, lips, scalp, chest, neck, arms, hands and women? s legs. You might be surprised to learn that skin cancer can also develop in areas of your body that are rarely (or never) exposed directly to sunlight. These areas include between your toes, under your toenails or fingernails, the palms of your hands, and the genital area.

The risk of skin cancer is not limited simply to people with light complexions. But when dark skinned people do develop melanoma, they are more likely to experience it in parts of the body not usually considered to be sun-exposed.

There is also no standard time table for skin cancer to develop. Depending on the type of cancer, a skin lesion can develop slowly over many years or appear very suddenly.

Warning signs of skin cancer are usually visual. For basal cell carcinoma, you may notice a waxy bump on your face, neck or ears, or a flat brown scar-like lesion on your back or chest. Squamous cell carcinoma usually appears as a firm red nodule, or a flat scaly lesion, on the face, neck, ear, hands or arms.

Melonoma, which is the most deadly form of skin cancer, can develop anywhere on the body ? although it is found most frequently on the trunk, head or neck of men and the arms or legs of women. Melanoma can appear as a large brown spot with darker speckles, or a mole that suddenly changes color or size or bleeds. Melanoma can also appears as a small lesion with an irregular border and blue, red, black or white spots. Shiny, firm dome-shaped bumps can also be a warning sign of melanoma, as well as dark lesions on the soles of the feet, palms of the hands, or on the mucous linings of the nose, mouth, anus or vagina.

While not all changes in your skin are cancerous, it is best to have your doctor examine any changes that you notice. With early detection, most skin cancer can be treated. And with proper sun protection, most skin cancer can be avoided altogether.

India to probe Delhi airport blackout (AFP)

NEW DELHI (AFP) ? India said Monday it would probe a five-hour electricity blackout at Delhi airport after a new terminal was plunged into darkness, affecting scores of domestic and international flights.

Operations at the 2.7-billion-dollar terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport ground to a halt on Sunday morning as the power supply went down and back-up generators failed.

"We will set up a committee to probe Sunday's power failure at Delhi airport," aviation minister Vayalar Ravi said, according to the Press Trust of India news agency.

Local newspapers reported that X-ray machines, check-in desks and the baggage handling system were all unable to operate.

Some arriving passengers were stuck on board their planes until they were guided to the terminal via car headlights, the Times of India reported.

"We had to shut all access to the terminal except one as it had already become very crowded inside," an airport official told the newspaper.

"The situation was completely chaotic inside. The airport is a high-risk zone and it is completely absurd for a situation like this to arise."

The terminal was inaugurated amid much fanfare last July when it was hailed as an example of India's ability to complete major infrastructure projects on time.
