University of Missouri Health Care CEO Jim Ross to Retire

University of Missouri Health System, parent of University of Missouri Health Care, has announced the retirement of MU Health Care's CEO Jim Ross, effective Dec. 31.

Mitch Wasden, the current COO of MU Health Care, will take over the CEO position on Jan. 1, 2013. He will serve as both the CEO and the COO. Mr. Ross joined MU Health Care in 2004. While he was CEO, University of Missouri Health Care's net income exceeded $30 million for seven years.
